OPTIONAL FRIDAY MORNING ACTIVITIES

9:00-10:00 a.m. Tour: The AAUW State Public Policy Committee is organizing a tour of the Wisconsin State Capitol at 9 a.m. with opportunities for people to talk to their legislators afterwards if they wish.

11:00-11:40 a.m. Film: If you cannot do a physical tour of the State Capitol, you might be interested in a documentary film, Wisconsin State Capitol Building Tour, which is a virtual tour. “Road Less Traveled: Wisconsin and Beyond” has videotaped a very talented professional Capitol guide describing the history, stonework, architecture and art with excellent closeups of the skylights and the many badgers as he walks his group through the different chambers. The 40-minute film will be shown at the DoubleTree Hotel.
