The summer issue of Badger Briefs came out, this week. This issue featured an article from our President, Lyn Hildenbrand, regarding AAUW’s national focus on economic security. While AAUW has had many legislative successes related to pay equity, there is still work to be done! At convention, Lyn set a goal of having having 100,000 women trained through Work Smart by August, and challenged members to go online and register to take the Work Smart workshop at salary.aauw.org. If you have not yet done so, she encourages you to take the course, so that you can serve as an equity ambassador!
The issue also included a report on the 2019 state convention and fundraiser, photos from the convention, a list of the 2019 Membership Growth Award recipients, the Treasurer’s report, state board and annual business meeting minutes, and a list of the new 2019-2020 State Board Members.
